About Paul’s Restorations: Family-Owned Since 1982
Our story
Paul’s Restorations has been in business since 1982. Founded by Paul Giardini, the company began from humble beginnings in the basement of Paul’s first home. What started as a part-time general contracting business grew into a specialized restoration and reconstruction company serving property owners throughout Southern Ontario.
After graduating from McMaster University’s Commerce Program and having worked in the family business since they were young, Paul’s nephews, David and Mark Sebastianutti, chose to help grow the company in their hometown rather than pursue corporate careers in Toronto. Both became partners in 1997 and, as Paul gradually stepped back from day-to-day operations, took on responsibility for the company’s management and strategic growth.
The next generation remains actively involved today. Paul’s son Paolo oversees the GTA region, while his son Vincent manages the flooring and paint divisions.
Being family-owned and operated continues to shape how Paul’s does business. Personal knowledge, care and attention are brought to every project, and it is not uncommon for a family member to answer your call or personally visit your job site.

Today, Paul’s Restorations operates five full-service restoration locations in Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Burlington, Brantford and Barrie. The organization also includes dedicated flooring and paint divisions, along with in-house garment cleaning and contents restoration capabilities.
As the company has grown, Paul’s has continued to invest in its people. With more than 60 full-time staff members, the team includes many long-term employees who have developed alongside the company and bring years of hands-on restoration experience to their work.
Although Paul’s now serves communities across Southern Ontario, the company continues to operate with the close involvement and personal accountability of a family-owned business.
The Equipment, Facilities & Technology to Deliver
Over the years, Paul’s Restorations has continued to reinvest in equipment, facilities and technology to support efficient response, detailed documentation and restoration work of varying size and complexity.
Each location maintains restoration equipment including refrigerant and desiccant dehumidifiers, air movers, thermal imaging cameras and climate-control equipment.
Paul’s locations collectively provide more than 100,000 square feet of warehousing space across Ontario, supporting storage, contents processing and restoration operations.
Our head office includes dry-cleaning capabilities, Esporta cleaning technology and a Fireline contents processing system to support contents cleaning and restoration.
Matterport 3D imaging, mobile estimating and file-management technology help our teams document losses, manage projects and keep information accessible across locations.
These investments give Paul’s teams the equipment, space and technology needed to manage restoration projects efficiently while maintaining consistent information and coordination throughout the work.

Paul’s Restorations is a member of EMRG Canada, a national network of independent restoration companies that combines local ownership with access to additional expertise and resources when needed.
For major losses, catastrophe events and more complex commercial restoration projects, the EMRG network provides Paul’s with added capacity for resource coordination, large-scale response and support beyond our local operations.
This allows Paul’s to remain independently owned and locally operated while having access to broader restoration resources when the scale of a loss requires them.
