Paul’s Restorations: built on family values
Paul’s Restorations has been in business since 1982. Founded by Paul Giardini, the company started from humble beginnings in the basement of Paul’s first house. What started as a part-time general contracting company grew into a specialized remediation and re-construction firm specializing in water, smoke, fire, wind, storm damage repair.
After graduating university and having worked in the business since they were kids, Paul’s nephews, David and Mark Sebastianutti, both graduates of McMaster University’s Commerce Program, passed on the opportunity to work corporate Toronto and wanted to help grow the company in their hometown. Both became partners in 1997. As Paul started to step back from the day-to-day operations, David and Mark became responsible for the overall management and strategic growth of the organization. Paul’s son, Paolo oversees the GTA region while his son, Vincent manages the flooring and paint divisions.
Being family owned and operated gives Paul’s Restorations a competitive advantage. Personal knowledge, care and attention is given to every single project. It’s not uncommon to have a family member answer your call or personally visit your job site.
The organization currently consists of 5 full-service restoration branches: Hamilton (head office), Niagara Falls, Burlington, Brantford and Barrie, an independent flooring and paint divisions, and in-house garment cleaning department.
Over the years Paul’s Restorations has reinvested in staff, equipment, facilities, and technology.
Staff continues to be Paul’s Restorations greatest asset. With over 60 full time staff members, the company prides itself on its many long term staff members that have grown with them over the years.
A fully stocked supply of equipment in each location allows Paul’s Restorations to mobilize and be ready to service any size loss. Refrigerant and desiccant dehumidifiers, air movers, thermal imaging cameras, Matterport 3D Imaging, and climate control equipment abundantly available and ready for deployment from every location. Dry cleaning and Esporta with a complete Fireline content processing system complements the head office.
Each location operates in an owned facility with office, warehousing, and content processing space. The Paul’s Restorations group collectively has more than 100,000 square feet of warehousing space throughout Ontario.
A data secure virtual cloud-based server with continuous backup creates a fully remote and mobile workflow processes keep all branches up to date with the latest industry software and information. Mobile estimating and file management tablets help increase response times, client reporting, mobilization, project completion, and enhance performance measures.
